“A man can no more diminish God’s glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word ‘darkness’ on the walls of his cell.” C. S. Lewis, The Problem of Pain

All I can remember is a kind of bloodhound-type dog, but instead of it having ears that were super floppy, it seemed like someone moved the ears in front of his face and put a face on them.

Astounded

God is so good! He has loaded up my life with all sorts of blessings, seen and unseen, and I am beyond glad that not only can words not express my thanks, but also that they can’t even begin to express His greatness. It is good to be A Lot More Hella loved.

Driving with 3 people in a police car, we end up near a lake on a wooden pier. We all look out of the windows and realize that the car’s refection in the water looks like a shark that is following us! We proceed to look at it, enthralled by this amazing fish that we think that we see, until the car drives off of the end of the pier.

About the title (don’t cringe just yet)

While sitting in my college Linguistics class, I happened upon what is now the staple of my vocabulary. The professor was detailing her feelings on the stupidity of the grammar taught in high school English classes, arguing instead that Linguistics (or, spoken) grammar should be the focus. In response, a girl a few rows in front of me agreed by saying that she thought that, and here I quote, “LINGUISTICS GRAMMAR IS A LOT MORE HELLA FUN than normal grammar”. Needless to say, such a prize couldn’t be let to die after one use, so it is now my anthem. Make it yours, today!
